I really like GG's debut, but I have to give my vote to Kobaďa. Love that one!

I picked Camel with Magma next.
I'm not sure what the "other" includes but i'm thinking Mahavishnu Orchestra, Anekdoten, Anglagard.

I voted other, because of this one:
or else I would probably go for either Soft Machine or Floyd...

I tried to contain only English and American bands mainly. Also they weren't very much 'known' and aren't considered as the 'classic' prog bands to non-prog fanatics.

Thinking about it, I could've added Focus since Hocus Pocus was played throughout rock stations.

good choice. I like the first two Triumvirat albums , less keen after that tbh
Thanks, i like something in all of the Triumvirat records, though i consider the first three the only essential prog albums from the bunch. My order of preference is
                                                                                Illusions
                                                                               Spartacus
                                                                               Mediterranean Tales
                                                                               Pompeii
                                                                                Old Loves Die Hard
                                                                               A La Carte
                                                                               Russian Roulette

Man, this has got to be one of the easiest polls I've participated in. Cool Magma's debut is a steal! The album that started all that madness that is Zeuhl. Classic album - very consistent. I've always enjoyed the darker atmosphere of it compared to Vander's later works. It's great. Thumbs Up

Magma , Yes , PF and Softs are battling so hard I had to go for other  - the darkside - Univers Zero 1313. Though worth mentioning is Present's Triskaidekaphobie  ( Fear of the Number 13 ).

From this list CAMEL. But the best debut for me is Dream Theater's "When Dream and Day Unite".
