My two-year-old daughter makes me give her a quarter each time "the green team" wins.  LOL

aaahhhhh so glad the Giants are back to normalcy!
After a dominating win against a top opponent we throw a clunker against a rivalLOL

That game was pathetic. Defense: trash. Run game: trash. Pass rush: non existent. Even Eli didn't have a good day, (both picks I'd lay on him, and the 2nd was laughably bad).
Buuuuuuuuut, never quit on Eli!
We all just sat back and said "Well let's see if Eli pulls another miracle" and boom. It's really amazing.

I wasn't terribly impressed with RG3 but he was very efficient. Mostly short passes, lots of runs, options and deception...would like to see him run a more traditional offense but he was efficient, didn't make many mistakes and he is fast as hell. Looked like he was casually strolling while outrunning the whole defense.

Unless Cincy fires Marvin Lewis (I think everyone in our division is happy that, somehow, he gets rehired each year) I'm pretty sure your division lead is insurmountable.  The Steelers are a bad team this year and the Browns have been terrible since they won the Super Bowl in 01', when they pretended to be from Baltimore.

Sanchez has actually looked pretty decent, even crazier considering he threw it 41 times!
I will give the Jets credit, they come to play the Pats. No one gave em a chance of even being in this game. Myself being one.

Ravens D has been slowly cracking every year, I think we were all waiting for it to burst and losing their top corner, and to a lesser extent Ray, was the death blow. And I want to like Flacco but IDK, he just doesn't seem to have that moxy

Just to make sure no one misses the irony: That ancient Baltimore defense which isn't actually as good as we all believe, can be applied to the Steelers.

If he's only going to have one great pass, damn it he'll make it the most important.

I was pretty sure we were incapable of getting interceptions this season. Guess I was wrong.

I wonder if you watched the same game I did. That Ravens defense looked absolutely lost out there, and if they don't get more starters back soon, I don't see that changing much.

I would also suggest taking a look at some of Dalton's and Green's stats. If they continue to put up the kind of numbers that they are, I could still see the Bungles making a run at it. Assuming our secondary starts to make some improvements that is.

I thought the Bengals were solid last year, but they didn't have the "it" which is not unexpected with a rookie QB, WR and young team.
As Andy and AJ develop it'll be interesting to see if Cincy can take the next step.

Well given the current track record, it wouldn't surprise me. But yeah, I think the one thing this team really needs as that "it" factor. In the past, it's been takeaways, and they're +1 so far in this game. But I'd really like to see more INTs. I think Leon Hall's was only the third of this season if my memory serves me right.

Also, this is just based on memory, but I'm pretty sure that the Bengals have allowed the opposing team to score in every single game when said team has had the ball within the last 2 minutes. It's becoming frustrating as hell that this defense is great for 26 or 27 minutes, but can't pull it together in the last 3 or 4. Angry

Steelers are tied with about 8 minutes left...I don't feel good about this, our defense is not trustworthy.  At least the Ravens lost...it got out of hand early in that game.

I made a joke earlier today with my brother that after the Ravens lost, it would give the Steelers a chance to close the gap in the division. Looks like I was right after all. And honestly, if I were a Steelers fan, I'd feel a heck of a lot better now about this defense.

*Waits for MoM to come in find a way to bitch about how terrible the Steelers played*

And no, talking about a bad first half doesn't count. Tongue

idk people are silly. What gorilla? If you've followed the thread the Texans are considered one of the top teams in the NFL, which they are, and the ravens have a streaky qb and broken defense.

There was one former Brown on the roster when the f**kin BALTIMORE RAVENS won the Super Bowl, and that was Stover. They ceased to be the Browns in 96.

I know what it feels like to lose a beloved hometown football team,so I sympathize with Cleveland. You have no idea what it's like MoM,so cut the crap. But they only had to wait 3 years, got a new team, kept their colors and their records and all that good sh*t.If you're from Cleveland,be pissed at the Modell's or your own city for not building a new stadium, not the people from Baltimore/Maryland.

Don't take MoM too seriously Jody, we all know he's a rabble rouser.
Just laugh it off and say Western PA is racist, backwards and crappy. He'll blow his lid (and I didn't even mean it!)LOL

Ahhhhh Cutler vs Stafford, the battle of gunslingers! Who will make less mistakes?
Intriguing, both QBs are the same type player with one huge WR but not much else. Hoping for an offensive shootout

Edit: oooor it can go like thatLOL

Bears are legit. Defense is solid and just does what they do, run game is solid, if Cutler can keep his erratic nature under control he's a good QB. Gunna be an under the radar team.
Meanwhile the Lions are still more roar than bite.
