And while we're talking about it, why is Tony Conrad under Krautrick? I don't associate him with that genre at all.

Because Conrad's music doesn't sound like Krautrock and he is not German.

True, and I'm no expert on Krautrock but isn't most of the music on Dream Syndicate played by Faust.

Oh yeah, that must be why. I haven't heard that album, I just know him from his work with John Cale and La Monte Youn. Minimalist violin drones. Not very Krauty.
Anyway, Manuel Göttsching is right. That was not as difficult as I anticipated.
