The Steelers are a bad football team.  The Titans are still probably the worst team in football but the Steelers are obviously right there with them.

lots of injuries, bad decisions, having dude try a field goal out of his range is stupid, would have been better to go for it, waste some more clock

OK, I never make score predictions so here we go:

Seattle shuts down Pats, win 4 - 2. Yup, all safeties.

Miami wins over St Louis 49 - 48. 7 passing TDs for Tannehill and 16 field goals for St Louis.

Indy wins 70 - 7 over the Jets. Sanchez throws 3 picks, gets benched for Tebow who throws 5. In fact Tebow goes 0 for 5, all throws = picks but he does run for one TD and is made mayor of New York.

Kansas City/Tampa end in a 0 - 0 tie.

Arian Foster runs 50 times for 350 yards, Schuab only needs to complete 1 pass to win.

Dallas is up on Baltimore but at half time Jerry Jones sells the team. They become the Los Angeles Gringos.

Not as much as their cockiness, their fans' cockiness, the dirty play, the Super Bowl XL officiating debacle that screwed Seattle.  I could go on and on.

If you lived in Pittsburgh you might understand.

No no no, I am pretty sick of that whole excuse. It's brought up every time "It's all we have in Pittsburgh" or something along those lines.
What a depressing population yall must be!

Really though, I didn't think the city was that bad at all, nothing like the stereotype for sure.
I think the whole Pittsburgh thing is just a cover. Even back in the 70s when it may have been that way, no excuse for being terrible fans. At least many admit it, Dallas fans just go into hiding.

In fairness, Leary is right. We can spin it any way but it's really all about their success. Cockiness, bad fans, dirty play? Be real, you can describe any team there.

Are you Seabird fans really still crying about your bad team losing the Super Bowl?  The refs didn't hose you, you weren't any good.  The NFC, as a whole, sucked that year.  Showtime's Inside the NFL (a cast full of Steelers' haters, btw) went through each "controversial" call the week after the game with a fine toothed comb and found the officiating in the right (as I've said before: the real blown call was a fumble by Seattle's TE that was ruled an incompletion).  Don't be as big a baby as your former tub-of-overrated coach.

Also, dirty play!  For f**ks sake.  Maybe you only know football in the GODell era but they used to encourage hitting in the game.

The Steelers current problems break down like this: they have absolutely no defense.  The Titans are so bad on offense that they allowed the Steelers outs: if Keenan Lewis (he actually killed the team on three major occasions) could catch a Hasselback softball thrown right at him the game is over, if Ike Taylor doesn't get fooled for the second straight play and gets himself inbetween the ball and receiver like a competent CB then they game isn't tied, or if Batch cuts right instead of running straight into his own lineman then the FG attempt is within 50 yards.  Focusing on those things, like I'm sure Tomlin will do (still seems like he has no clue on the sidelines in close games), isn't helpful to anyone, though.  As I said before: The Steelers completely ignored their major secondary problem in the offseason and it's only gotten worse.  It seems that every team in the league (outside of the Jets) is completely versed in LeBeau's blitz scheme, as well.  That or they simply don't have the talent or speed to run it anymore (they certainly don't have the CBs to cover for the lack of QB pressure).

I'm not a Seahawk fan (I'm a Lions fan, a whole other issue), but they did in fact get royally screwed in SB XL.  Bill Leavy (the head official for that game) even came out and said that there were calls made that directly affected the outcome of the game.  And honestly, both teams failed to play to their potential in that game.  Big Ben had the lowest QB rating for a "winning QB" in Super Bowl history and there seemed to be a lot of nerves on both sides.  And yeah, I'm biased against them because their fans are annoying (one of my best friends is a Steelers fan LOL) and a lot of things go their way.  And when they're successful on top of it, it fuels my hatred.

Since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970 and through the 2010 season, that is the Pittsburgh Steelers with 20 division titles. The Dallas Cowboys are next with 18, the San Francisco 49ers have 17, and the Minnesota Vikings have 16.

That could be the biggest "duh" statement ever made and could be made about damn near every football game ever played.  There is absolutely no worth in it, whatsoever.

Auuuuughhhh!  Steelers lost another one.  Secondary is awful.

We still debating the Steeler / Seahawk super bowl????

Having lived in Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and now Carolina...I can say the Steeler fans are no worse or better than other cities.  See this guys funeral arrangements below, it is good to see he has his priorites straight....beer and snacks included also....

First move that the Steelers have to do : Replace Ike Taylor, there is a reason why opponents teams throw the ball in his direction, he gets burned or he takes a penalty. Not the year of the Steelers.

It always disgusts me to watch Baltimore limp bye in games with the broken-play dump passes to Ray Rice but when that isn't enough do the officials really have to hand them the game?  I know the league loves Baltimore and New England but that half was ridiculous.  Phantom holding call ruins Dallas' drive to take the lead then Torrey Smith (think it was him, hair obscured the player name) absolutely runs over the CB on his way into the endzone and not only don't they call offensive pass interference they call defensive.  Smith only ran straight into the CB then shoved him to the ground.  Baltimore has no business being in this game but for terrible officiating and one dump pass to Ray Rice.

Oh lord, Jets win big.
This entire week is going be nothing but f**kin Tebow now.
Sure he threw 1 pass, and ran 4 times for 7 yards but we all know that's never mattered.

Edit: Steelers fans are notorious for giving zero credit to any player/team ever to which MoM is our local exampleLOL
At least he hates the Steelers almost as much!

Hoping the G Men can pull out a win over San Fran. Even with our crap defense I dont expect a blow out (SF isn't that explosive and we manage to keep games close enough) but it's gunna be damn tough. Keep it close guys and give Eli a chance in the 4th.

Detriot! Woo! Great finish. And the ravens seemed like they wanted to lose that one...but they didn't. Whew.

Well at least we got help from the Browns today, they beat the Bengals.

As much as I hated rooting for the Cowboys, they still were wide left...Cry

Jets with a back over 150 yards rushing, and its not Teebow!?!?!?  What is the world coming to...Wink

Wow, that was totally unexpected. Very strong win against the Niners.
In the first half Eli was near unstoppable, though San Fran had mostly tight coverage and some decent pressure. Any Giant "fan" that gives Manning any crap after all this should just be banned from the US. LOL
I can't believe how the Giants ran it on them though! And finally finally they were able to get some pressure from the D line! Long season but things are gelling.

Great to see the Cowboys blow another one, Eagles lose and the Pats go down. What a day.
