Hey, is this video from Live Aid? If so, how can it not have made it to the video release... well, I guess the recordings available somehow didn't have the necessary quality, but how could they not have made sure it were to be properly recorded. It's Led Zeppelin, one of the biggest seller in rock, I bet the Live Aid video would have sold more if the recordings from Led Zeppelin (almost) had made it through. |

I'm personally glad he didn't join. He wouldn't be right for Genesis. His guitar style wouldn't fit in with the rest of band's sound.

Not sure how obscure this is, but it turns out that Eddie Jobson was guesting in Tull's crew at this concert. Maybe it's not that much of a surprise to some Tull fans:
BTW, Barre, Jobson, and Anderson For The freaking Win.

Eddie Jobson's days in Curved Air were in 1973: http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=4798. What other famous organ Jon played before 1973?

Not exactly rare, Eddie can also be seeen in the "To Old to Rock & Roll, To Young to Die" video (Oh, just notoiced your Youtube video is 67 minutes long and has that track). He was an un-official member of Jethro Tull fior the album "A" and was credited credited as Guest, because he was recruited by Ian for a solo album but ended playing with Tuill. Marillion's FISH was in the movie THE JACKET that stars Adrien Brody. He played a mental patient Inside the ward. Small cameo really. Thought that was neat.

Turns out that Naomi Watts' father, Peter Watts, was a sound engineer and a road manager for PF. I don't know how about you, but I have just found that out. If you did, then let me put it another way: PF's late sound engineer and road manager Peter Watts' daughter was the actress Naomi Watts.
