Difficult choice for me between Kate Bush(brilliant song) ELP (a classic) and the Moodies.

I'm not so much into Hogarth - era Marillion but Hollow Man is a fine track.

Man-erg. No contest at all. Marillion and Kate Bush follow at a safe distance.

This is a real tough one for me as there's a  lot of music I really like.  "The man with the Child in his Eyes" is my favourite Kate Bush song, with Wow following, and I am entranced by it.  I love that Laurie Anderson pick, and Big Science had a big musical effect on me.  "Man Erg" was perhaps the first VdGG track I heard, or maybe it was House With No Door, anyway, it's one that really helped me get into Prog in a big way.  Love it.  That Miles Davis track is a really nice spin on Gershwin's classic.  And I do like the Wyatt' and Residents ones.  That Beefheart is fun etc.

There's a commercial featuring O Superman I see quite often on TV for a cell phone as I recall (i don't watch a lot of TV, but I've still seen tht commercial many times).  I think I will go for O Superman -- it has special place in my heart, but it's the same place as with the Kate Bush one, and both are linked to the same time of my life and make me feel nostalgic.

Gotta go with "The Slow Crash Landing Man" by Spock's Beard. Anyone else?

^ Not me.  Nothing wrong with mentioning what your choice would have been had it been included, but If you can't find anything on the list that you like enough to mention as well, well then, perhaps you haven't heard enough of the music.

I would like another.  It's quite unusual in a poll that I find so many that I care about that it's really hard to decide on which one to vote for, and could easily vote for a number of different ones.

I find Melancholy Man a particularly moving song.  People always say to write what you know.  I guess a lot of songwriters know people.
The world of sound is certainly capable of infinite variety and, were our sense developed, of infinite extensions. -- George Santayana, "The Sense of Beauty"

I love VDGG but I've never been able to get into Pawn Hearts, so I'll vote Man with an Open Heart.
