Nice choices. I see we have a few mutual favorites :). never heard of Lacrimosa though, I'll have to check em out. I listened to Digital Ghosts for the 1st time today actually, Huge fan of SG btw. can't decide wheat my favorite by them is. Legacy is one only album by them that i've yet to hear. I need to give that one a liste, I've heard from a lot of people that it's a great album.

Hmm...I'm going to try not to repeat a band too many times: 1. Dream Theater - Metropolis Pt. 2 Scenes From a Memory 2. Seventh Wonder - The Great Escape 3. Symphony X - The Odyssey 4. Seventh Wonder - Mercy Falls 5. Dream Theater - Images and Words 6. Fates Warning - A Pleasant Shade of Grey 7. Circus Maximus - Isolate 8. Redemption - Snofall on Judgement Day 9. Epica - The Divine Wings of Tragedy 10. Riverside - Out of Myself
There's so many more I want to include, and I was tempted to try not to repeat a band more than once for the list....
I lost a LOT of respect for Pain of Salvation with Scarsick, Road Salt, and Road Salt 2. Perhaps I should have included them in the list but I've lost so much interest in them.

^ Thanks man. I forgot to add Russian Circles in my list. I enjoy them more than Periphery, so maybe I'd swap them for the number 10 spot. Great to see Isis on your list as well. Fantastic Atmospheric, Sludgy Metal.

Can't manage more than three
Tool -Lateralus
Dream Theater - Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulance
Liquid Tension Experiment - LTE2
after that I would be naming just Dream Theater albums that I don't like as much as Six Degrees

Yes. They have that heavy sludge feeling to them with a great pysch flavor due to their richard wright on keys.

That sounds phenomenal! Are they Floyd influenced? I've just been recently listening to a lot of Isis, Neurosis, Pelican, Battles, so these guys should be right up that alley. I'll check them out tonight. I'll let you know what I think once I hear some songs.
