Nala, try walking as far as you can with 35lb dumbbells in each hand. Then rest for a minute and do it again for 5 more times. Your arms will be hate.

愛 is the kanji for love. I told her that I loved her. It's unrequited, but I don't know the kanji for that yet.

Oh, love is one of the few words I know, I just didn't know the kanji for it.

Our teacher requires C.

C is good to learn because both C++ and Objective C are built on top of C, so learning C means you can be extra pro at those later. I never learned straight C on its own (although I learned it while I was learning C++ and while I was learning Objective C) so even though I know it mostly and write it, I almost never use it unless I have to.

I'm going to be useless in practical situations. I meant to type "I was once in junior high school" but instead got "I was once inside of some junior high school students".

Well I think learning C first obfuscates things, because the syntax is almost identical, but the libraries are much more more crappy and annoying to use. I do agree that you should learn the basics before jumping into OOP tho. And I would start out teaching memory management C style, because malloc and free can be used from GNU C++. My 0.02$

Depending on who I'm talking to, I might get a high-five.
