After hearing the news about Owain of The Reasoning, The Thirteenth Hour.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

That's one of those that pop into my head right away if someone mentions it.

LOLBig smile sorry Big smile . Actually, it's that song alternating on occasions with the near end of 'Tubular Bells, part 2.' I think it's because of the organ or they (for the lack of a better word) logically sound together.

Recently I came up with my Top 50 Genesis songs (really, I did - in order, too)  and Looking for Someone, to my mild surprise, came in at #2. Not bad for a "transitional effort".

My head used to have "Introduction" by Chicago Transit Authority going through it, but now it's, yes, "Looking for Someone".

Yeah pretty much any song off Trespass will come into mind upon mention.  I've listened to that album more times than I can count.  "And in the darkness of my mind, Damascus wasn't far behind."

What's your number one Genesis track?

Watcher of the Skies.

I actually just posted my entire top 50 in the Top 10 Genesis Tracks thread, under the "Top 10 and Lists" category, if you care to check it out.

"Heart of Gold" by Neil Young, interspersed with "Old Man".  Someone must have said something that triggered a lyric memory.

edit: ha! I know what it was.  Getting my daughter ready for school, searching for her shoes.  "Keep me searching for my daughter's shooooes / And I'm gettin' old"
