Ironically I am playing far less, and they finally released the PS3 patch Of course my copy was somehow running OK, though lag was starting to become a tad annoying, which supposedly has been fixed. As well as some glitched missions, hopefully the thieves guild so I can finally beat that sh*t. I have enough games to occupy myself for months even if I did nothing but play em all day! A friend gave me the final 2 splinter cells, I got my 360 back so I can now play Lost Planet and I never got around to RE:5 yet. Oi! |

I am not going to play Terraria anymore because hardmode is ridiculous. I have 59 defense, a goddamn bat should not be doing 40 damage per hit.
Valve f**king knocked this out of the park. Who knew people would pay $100 to make a Hitler joke

ME3 Demo, part 2: Multiplayer mode.
Yes, it has multiplayer. Co-op horde mode, like Gears of War meets Resistance 2. Pretty generic. Still, can be quite fun. You can be a Krogan soldier and beat the piss out of everything, which is pretty much what I did when I played it. Krogan Soldier also doesn't have the stupid rolling mechanic that causes so much trouble. |

Surely if it's a demo they still have a chance to fix things?
A mate of mine online said he loved the demo. |

The problem with the rolling mechanic is inherent in the control scheme. Four different controls are mapped to the same button: use, sprint, cover, and roll. Three of these are essential movement keys with very different functions. Sometimes you want to roll and hit a nearby button. Sometimes you want to sprint away and find yourself attached to a wall (for a brief second or two before dying). Frequently, you want to take cover and instead roll face-first into the wall, which can result in your standing up again into the line of fire or rolling past your cover and right out into a wide-open space. If it weren't for console controllers ruining everything like they always do, I doubt the problem would exist. |

Well, as yall know I've been questing to increase my video game collection (never had more than 2 systems at a time) and thank to my tax return I took another step today.
Had no idea they released so many of the Resident Evils on the Gamecube! Picked up 0,1,2 (never played) and 4. Supposedly 3 (not played much) and Code Veronica (never beat) are also on GC. Got the Metal Gear pack for the PS3. So yeah was a huge day, and I don't need to get a ps2 now I realized. Also still playing Skyrim Who says you need to be a functioning member of society? Not when I have like 10+ games to occupy myself with over the next year, or several. |

So there's no way of separating these actions and reassigning the keys? I don't like console ports. |

They are generally pretty easy, but that's obviously not the case when you have to fight 5 bosses to get a bomb and half a heart

Just got Killing Floor during a Weekend Deal. Really great game and a pretty ridiculous steal at that price.

Uncharted 3.
Held off for a bit to keep personal hype/bias aside...but needless to say Naughty Dog has done it again. Guess it's not groundbreaking or even different from the first 2, but just so well done. It's been brilliant thus far! What a great game, and what a great series. And I have decided to call it quits with building my collection for now. I now have all the Resident Evils for the Gamecube, some Star Wars games and Star Fox Adventures (which was one of my all time favorites). So glad all this old stuff is so cheap!
