Why was that too bad? I happened to find the answer before you, just like you found Gediminas and someone_else found Hatshepsut before me (I must admit that I felt a bit robbed after thatLOL). Never mind, you have a new chance now. I think this is quite difficult, so if you find the solution without additional clues, I will be impressed!

To answer your question: No. She was born before 1900.

By the way, I'm fairly sure one of Henry's wives was Katherine, not Catherine but it's almost the same. Wink

The six women to hold the title 'queens consort' of King Henry VIII were, in order:

Yeah but Catherine Howard, I believe, was a Katherine. Tongue  Although in the 16th century, there was of course no spelling conventions, so she was known under various different spellings.

Also, Catherine Parr was also a Katherine and I doubt Catherine of Aragon was a Catherine either. LOL  Indeed, she was Catalina and in English, also Katherine.

I’ve checked it now, and you’re right. Which means s_e was right too! But what’s your question?

EDIT: I couldn’t resist it – I just found this (it was on the front page of a Norwegian paper):

No, she was not born in the 19th century. Which also rules out Woolf (though she was already sort of ruled out because I said that this is a difficult oneWink).

Not French. James, I guess you meant the 18th century, and that is correct.
