I use Firefox, and when I come to the forum I can see that I am logged in, but when I'm on the main page it won't let me rate albums.  It tells me I need to log in.  Very strange.

simple really isn't it. It tells you to log in. the clue was there.

Um, nope.  It doesn't work for me.  When I try to log in from there, it says "

500 - Internal server error.


But if I come to the forum, I'm already logged in.  I don't understand it.

The forum and main page are separated for some reason, but i'm not sure how to fix the error?

Maybe someone more informed can help, sorry for the inconvenience.

It's a server bug that we hope will be fixed by the forthcoming server update (I don't know when that will happen, though). So in the meantime you can use the site login from the Collaborators page.
