I have heard that Paul McCartney will be doing the Super Bowl half time show this year promising to rock the world.

It is nice to see a musician with integrity, class and most importantly talent rather than the talentless hacks trying to resurrect careers that never were by committing their tasteless shananigans.

What is sad, however we had to look to England to bring some quality back to our half tme shows. I mean a sport so american as the NFL should display american musicians rather than old geezers from England. This isn't a knock on England. This is a knock on the good ol' US of A having such a poor choice of classy, talented musicians that we had to look elsewhere!

Oh well....such is life....I for one am looking forward to seeing the half-time show this year for a change.....

Rock on Sir Paul McCartney....ya old geezer!

I assume you mean Kiss?

The absolute worst band ever formed.

As for Paul did you hear him sing with Terry Bradshaw?  OMG that was painful.

Ironic, yes.Ermm

ShockedIt's also ironic that a rabidly patriotic American should capitalize "England," but not "american." (Twice, yet!)Wink

BTW, you have PLENTY of great, classy musicians in the U.S., but McCartney is mega-famous....

O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'

Maybe Sir. McCartney will step on a land mine and leave us just Ringo to deal with.

^ I think they've removed the landmines from the half-time show this year. Too many marching band disasters.
