Sometimes we have dreams about one fantastic prog artist who would make great work with another prog band/artist.

Well, mine:


 - Neil Peart with King Crimson (Fripp, Bellew and Levin);

- Steve How with Genesis (wow!);

- David Gilmour with Camel (not plausible, i know...);

- Jan Akkerman with Return to Foverever;

- Peter Hammil with Marilion;

- Peter Gabriel with David Sylvian;

- Peter Gabriel with David Bowie;

- David Bowie with David Byrne;

- Peter Gabriel with Fripp and Eno (wow!).

I will post more when i remmenber.

Yes thats a fact. But the idea to make prog without keyboards was the spirit of that formation, wasnt it?

Steve Howe with ELP
...not a joke to make 'HELP' but I do think Howe would have been perfect for ELP (ok he was perfect for Yes anyway) . Howe and Emerson have mutual resect for each other which is why it would have worked.
 
Carl Palmer with Mike Oldfield
..actually happened a couple of times briefly but an entire album would have been interesting
