Ok so Arcade Fire's s/t EP is amazing. Clicked with me right away, highly suggest it. Funeral is great too, but i seem to listen to the other more.

As for the term Japavant... where did it originate?  Just curious.  I've been using it for years but I think I got it from Bj-1.  Not sure.

Is it a recognised term outside of P.A.?

Indeed.  It's wonderful.  Played it twice in a row but nodded off a bit during the second listen... grrr.

I do like a lot of Hammill solo albums though.  Over is obviously one his best and the one album where most of the lyrics are genuinely heartfelt.

Betrayed is such a wicked (not the slang speak wicked) tune. Big smile
