It was a fun game, you gotta give it a try.

I changed my Steam Server connection to Japan on a friend's advice, now I have 600kbps downloads. Odd, but works for me.
...And Iceland/Greenland is even faster Just caved and bought the entire X franchise (space simulators) as well as Splinter Cell and Chaos Theory. Feels good.

Iceland/Greenland, Japan and South Korea seem to be the best so far.

I've been so bored for the last few days that I've had nothing to do but annihilate children at free video games.

Well, Valve has managed to make TF2 totally (even more) awful since yesterday. They did the same thing that wrecked Battlefield Heroes, and added weapons you can buy that are frustratingly overpowered. Uninstall.

We spent years crafting a perfectly balanced class system and gave each character a distinct, instantly recognizable look, so let's chuck it all out with unlockable weapons and HATS. Anyway, my soul is currently being consumed by Wesnoth, gg videogame addiction. |

I thought they'd turn it into a pay to win cash-shop after it went free to play. Shame that that's how most F2P games end up these days.
RIP Hat Fortress 2, I guess Been playing Planescape: Torment for hours today, easily the best RPG I've ever played. Couldn't be better. Also been playing Hitman: Blood Money over trying to get perfect ratings again.

The only multiplayer game worth playing anymore is Pirates Vikings and Knights II, because the dev team is so ridiculously slow that nothing ever changes.

You don't need to download TF2, just go to "Tools" in steam and download the source SDK base.
Also, steep as f**k learning curve |
