If I had more harddisk space, a proper broadband connection and a video card that wasn't dodgy, I'd download more on Steam.

I already have 90% of the games in the Complete Valve Pack, and Super Meat Boy.  Super meat boy is very fun, but it makes my hands sweaty as hell.  Gamepad is a must for that game.

The Old King....

holy hell.
I've cheated the game, enacted some protect magic, found a good strategy and he is still impossible!
I've died enough to go to pure black tendency thus he's even harder now Cry

Oh man, Allant was brutal. I had to co-op with 2 people to take him down. :/

Has he caught you with his level-reducing back-stab yet?

Old King Allant is a b*****d to kill.
I used an all melee class, no magic/ranged attacks at all. Once you learn to anticipate him, he does become a lot easier, but still a total b*****d to kill.

What gear are you using?

Well I had great timing down, managed to disrupt most of his attacks and when he tried to heal...but each hit is like half my health, and if I couldn't roll just in time I be dead.

Are we all talking about Old King Doran?

My equip isnt the best but I picked up some good armor and the ring of great strength and shall try again later. If I get really pissed off I'll just have my bro co op with me or find an exploit (it must exist)

I already cheated this game hardcore so why not Embarrassed I'll do a real file sometime...

Apparently Old King Doran and Old King Allant are two different bosses.  I've never played the game myself.

^Oh, whoops. Meant Doran.
I think I was using the Black Leather armor set w/Dark Silver shield and a Dragon Long Sword +3 or something like that. I nearly always use the Cling ring and the Regenerator's Ring (helps save grass supplies by a ton).

As long as you're able to roll at full speed, any armor should really be fine.

Definately thought we were talking about Old King Allant lol.

JJ, you know Doran is an optional boss eh? So if you are really keen on beating him, then wait until you're near the very end of the game so you can face him at maximum strength.

Also, if you still have full black world tendency, you should go find/fight Executioner Miralda in 1-1. That will be a nice reprieve Tongue

Demon's Souls is defeated Big smile

Yeah, my bro told me he was optional but the armor was really good and also, I died a few times and went into pure black tendency (which I'm still in despite beating the Phalanx in my second play now Confused) so I was pissed and determined to beat him.

But yeah, he's done and the false king (allant right?) was certainly a royal pain as well.
It's done though Approve

^Up to you. I thought it was good, although I only played through it once.
There's a demon on Steam too.

Also, my copy of Hitman: Blood Money is downloading at like 30kbps. Ridiculous I say!

It was a 10 hour thing for me. I mean, you have the other moral choices, but the game is 95% the same either way, with a few different cinematics/scenes.
