Video & PC Game Discussion

TF2 is now free.  Those of us who already spent money on the game have been rewarded with a new hat.  In related news: Gabe Newell's middle finger is the new icon for TF2. 

Yes, they are one of the companies that does have my full trust. Along with Valve!


Yeah Joel and I are getting in on that beta action, we can count on you?
I have never played TF2 though I know its epic place in history of course. Is it for free or something?

oh sh*t! Well I'll add TF2 to the list. We can get some PA communal action going on

As far as I'm concerned, that game ceased to be worth playing over a year ago anyway.  At least my $20 got me the rest of Orange Box too.


edit (3 or 4 by now): Although initially this wasn't the case, downloading TF2 for free will now give a steam account access to Source SDK Base, enabling them to play mods.  Personally, I think that's an absolutely terrible idea on their part, not only from their own perspective but also from the perspectives of regular players and developers in particular (if not all of them) sourcemods.

I mean yeah, I'm cool for TF2 and PC games but I'd really like to see some other people join Joel and I on Uncharted 3.


Aiight, I'll look out for you Anton. Never played a second in my life so I'll suck, and I assume TF2 is a pretty dedicated and tight community so I'll suck even worse

Yeah mine just finished, sounds righteous bro.
Ima get a sneak peak now, been months since I've done Uncharted so I can't go 20-7 like I used to at my prime

LOL just like any beta just starting, had some trouble connecting then my game froze....but it did feel different. Not sure how yet, maybe slower....we'll see with time but I liked their online as was, hope they don't muck it up toooo much.
