Its sad that they released LSD: Dream Emulator on the Playstation Network, but its only available in Japan...It sounds so intriguing :(

Also JJ, what kind of racing games tickle your fancy? Judging by your sig I'm guessing the Codemasters F1 series at least.

Ha, I had a few codemasters games actually. Some of the TOCA series, they were amazing. Realistic, best damage I've seen and just really fun. They had everything: stock cars, F1, rally, sports cars and all types of stuff.
I like em all, currently have GT5, Forza was good. I played PG2 everyday for like a year LOL
Actually..I only had one F1 only game Embarrassed


For others: Just started the game Valkyria Chronicles. Had it for a long time now but forgot about it. Looked really amazing when I saw my brother playing it.
Oh dear forgot it was a turn based one LOL still seems cool though, I love the graphics and its unique which is all I want these days. All this sh*t is the same now! Love anything that's a bit different

I played through Valkyria Chronicles a few months back, killer game. And indeed, I absolutely loved the art style in that game, killer.
Currently racking my brain waiting for Dark Souls/Skyrim, and replaying through Demon's Souls again now. Nearly finished my NG+ run.

Sweet look forward to it. Though VC does seem a bit cliched and lame with some of the dialogue parts LOL
Oh yes Skyrim, and Dark Souls gah...I need to beat Demon's Souls first!

Yeah, a lot of Japanese games end up super cheesy in the English translations, I did notice VC suffered pretty badly from the dialogue

Also, Assassin's Creed Revelations/Battlefield 3 both look very very good, although they both come out within a month of Dark Souls/Skyrim so I'll probably hold off. Won't need 4 new games in the same weeks.

YeahLOL but fair point, I did forget about that. I suppose in Japanese it would sound and flow better.

^a lot of the time they Americanize the phrasing/actual sentences, so the end result can be pretty cheesy.

Anyone here played Mount&Blade: Warband? Reinstalled it about an hour ago and damn this game is awesome fun. Seriously one of the most enjoyable games I've ever played, not sure why I ever stopped.

Finally another fan of racing games on ProgArchives.  Haven't noticed one despite the abundance of racing fans.  I've picked up all 3 Dirt games the week of their release and loved them all, and this one may be the best yet.  The new rally locations (Norway, Finland, Kenya + Michigan) are all awesome, and I'm really digging the Gymkhana events even though they are way more difficult than the real races.

Playing with the controller. Haven't gotten hold of a racing wheel as yet although with my love of racing games I should really get hold of a wheel. Been enjoying Grand Turismo as well Smile

So who's playing new Alice - The Madness Return game ? It comes out on all 3 major platforms, so consolists should be happy as well. 

Actually, it's platformer with very good atmosphere.
There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

Just finished LA Noire,and while extremely good,it got a little repetitive after awhile.

Now playing Dragon Quest VI on DSi XL and will start Red Faction Armageddon on 360 tomorrow.

I started actually playing Dead Space, which I got like 2 years ago.  It's a lot easier than I remember.

Speaking of Uncharted 3, supposedly they are finally adding a sprint button, instead of just being able to sprint when the situation warrants LOL

I'll wait to see but I am slightly worried about some changes to online play, but I've lived without that anyway, long as the campaign is great still. Which if that series ever screwed it up to focus on online player I am done Angry

@JJ: Yeah, I really hope they don't go down the 4 hour single player/repetitive mutliplayer route. I don't think they will though. The single player was the selling point of the first game for sure, the second was mostly focused as a campaign with online as an added bonus IMO.
Beta should be going live tomorrow on murica time.
