Its sad that they released LSD: Dream Emulator on the Playstation Network, but its only available in Japan...It sounds so intriguing :(
Also JJ, what kind of racing games tickle your fancy? Judging by your sig I'm guessing the Codemasters F1 series at least. Edited by Bantam19 - June 12 2011 at 22:45 |

THE BEEEEEEEEEEES I'm playing LSD Emulator as an ISO on an emulator. Not the most legal route, but I'm not gonna pay like 200$ for a disc + it's considered abandonware nowadays by most. Patches is a dick, he does that a few times in the game. Then if you punch him he's all like 'WOT WAS THAT FOR?!'

How am I remotely like Walter? I'm not just in love with pre-1989 games.
I just don't really like the Elder Scrolls series. I tried to uninstall Oblivion the other day as I need hard disk space desperately... I've lent my GotY Edition to Dave upstairs and so I cannot uninstall it! I'll go and badger him later and borrow it back. Morrowind uninstalled fine without a disc. Grrrr! |

Damn it Walter...erm James. Even though we all know how you feel you must stick the thorn in every possible chance?
Joel, I forgot to ask...you said you were playing that LSD game? How did you get it? Also, I was lost in world 2-2 and found...THE BEES Dude I was talking to this guy and they started floating into my screen, well I went to get a drink of water...a few minutes later there was like, 20 of them waiting for me Also found Patches, my bro told me about him... "Go ahead and grab that treasure" (looks at giant beast on top of it...falls in front me) "oh sorry! I didnt mean for that to happen what bad luck!" What an ass Edited by JJLehto - June 10 2011 at 23:11 |

I encountered very strange bug in Fallout 3. I had Fawkes as companion (playing on extremely good karma), so it was either him, or this androgynous thing (android also). He's funny, because with Broken Steel DLC, he is invincible. I did not want this, I wanted to get rid of this and finally had to stop using him as companion, because with him, every fight was instant win. Over the course of game I accumulated 40 mini-nukes and fired all of them at him. He had 70% of health. I did harm him though :-) |

Hey guys, I'm writing this from the year 2046 using my time machine app. I just wanted to tell everyone that Half-Life 3 was just released and it's amazing. The only problem is that it's a little hard to play with my arthritis and cataracs.

It was unplayable with mods as well. It was a terrible game.

Im excited for Skyrim. Despite what most seem to think I have faith in Bethesda. Itll be fine and not Vegas.
Yeah Joel this glitch is not fair. I have uber health, stamina, item and equip burden plus 99 of the herbs, turpentine and a soul for which I can farm souls like a mofo. This is gunna be my for fun file and I'll make a new one to play for real Bantam I love racing games. Edited by JJLehto - June 09 2011 at 23:14 |

Finally another fan of racing games on ProgArchives. Haven't noticed one despite the abundance of racing fans. I've picked up all 3 Dirt games the week of their release and loved them all, and this one may be the best yet. The new rally locations (Norway, Finland, Kenya + Michigan) are all awesome, and I'm really digging the Gymkhana events even though they are way more difficult than the real races. Out of curiosity, are you playing with a controller or with a racing wheel? |

Agreed with Stoney, although I'm an optimist.
Also, I invested far more hours into vanilla Oblivion and enjoyed it more than I did with mods overall... It definitely had its problems, but saying it was unplayable without mods is ridiculous.

^ Well, Fallout New Vegas was an absolute mess at launch, the worst for Bethesda, I believe. Skyrim is using a new engine so it could be glitchy, but that gameplay video is miles better than Oblivion.

Hehe. I was waiting 2 weeks before playing The Witcher 2, I wanted to wait for patches to be released. Some people say that they raised FPS by 70%. I play on notebook. Powerful one, but still it's just notebook. So it was MUST for me. Same with Duke Nukem Forever. I will foolishly wait for someone to mod the game, so I will be able to use more weapons at once. Not just 2. I hate that. And finally, Skyrim. You are probably right. I waited half a year after release of Fallout New Vegas. It was worth it. I downloaded such mods as: better sounds, better textures, more nice looking map, more map markers, re-balancing of some game mechanics, new quests ... patches ! Skyrim will be the same. |

I'm year 89 and you can be that I spent many hours in 90s trying to play this game. As I remember it, it was incredibly difficult. My father, who then was better player than me, could do few levels, but not more. I only heard this difficulty difference, I'm not sure. But yeah, this new anniversary version is very difficult. The most difficult was the level where you have to shot some rocks and whole level will flood. Quickly. You have to (also quickly) run back and ... etc etc. This was difficult as hell. |

I shall be avoiding Skyrim. It will likely require mods to make it even slightly decent.

Stoney, it's being built around the 360 architecture so I wouldn't bother building a PC for it unless you're doing it for the mods.
Skyrim is being released the friday before the week of my final school exams, f**k my life. Will probably order online though because f**k paying 109$ for games.
