Okay, okay...
Has anyone here heard of LSD: Dream Emulator for the original Playstation? It was released only in Japan in 1998 and it's basically the retelling of a dream journal one of the designers had kept. The wiki explains most of it better than I can http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LSD_(video_game) But it is truly one of the most confusing/wonderful/scary/everything games I've ever played.

Best VA ever. Also, Demon's Souls is a good way to get in shape. Do 10 push-ups/sit-ups/jacks/lifts/whatever every time you die. You won't be able to get out of bed the second day. |

ZOMG Joel I beat the tower knight on my first try.
Just kinda winged it. Hilarious how I got frustrated as all hell trying to get across a bridge, but beat a boss on one try without dying |

Well...I got invaded for the very first time in Demon's Souls. Some dude way better than me and completely pwned me.
I'm kinda pissed because my health bar has gone done by like half. It was 680 something now 341?! If you see this man any idea how to possibly get it back? Not sure what exactly happened/what a lot of the game means yet. Also seems early to be invaded... :( |

I've been playing all the early Final Fantasy games. I started off by replaying 7, then for the 1st time, beat 6, 5, 1 and just today finished 2 (in that order) 3 and 4 are next... 7, since i first played it when it came out, has always been my favorite game (if i had to choose one) up until I just played 6 a couple months ago...

Was never into the FF series myself.
I don't wanna play anything right now Damn Joel, I spent a good chunk of 2 days harvesting souls and doing sh*t to really beast my character, make good advancement and best a boss in no problem. Just to get invaded and lose half my health, and I'm stuck with it until I beat the next boss I've been told. All that hard work, blown up by an invasion So demoralizing! |

If the bar is sorta half cut off, it means you're in soul form. It's kinda hard to understand, but here's the basics. When you die, you enter soul form. -In soul form, you can be invaded and invade other players. -You only have half a life bar in soul form (although that can be extended to 3/4 with the Cling Ring which I highly recommend) To get out of soul form: You need to either beat a boss (and you'll get a screen which says YOU REVIVED) Or you can use a Stone of Ephemeral Eyes to revive yourself when you go into soul form. Also nice job on the Tower Knight. Just beat him on my NG+, painful as hell. DEM SOULS though. Also also, played inFamous for about 4 hours just now, courtesy of Sony.

Yeah, so I've found out. Don't worry I have the cling ring, my brother told me to get it
Also realized that I'll probably spend a lot of the game in 3/4 health Wait I actually have some Stone of Ephemeral Eyes! Oh is the store up and running? I was thinking my 2 would most likely be Infamous and Little Big Planet... Edited by JJLehto - June 06 2011 at 13:04 |

Yup, the downloads have been up for 2 or 3 days now. There was a problem for some people downloading them when they first went up but it's all good now. I've already played through most of LBP, so I won't get that. inFamous is actually pretty damn fun. Not sure what other game I'll get though.
I spent like 90% of DS on my first full playthrough with 3/4 health, I got used to it after a while. I mostly saved my Stones of Ephemeral Eyes to use before boss battles for the extra health bar length.

Ya, unless you are super amazing, you will spend the vast majority of the game in soul form. Which is why its almost impossible to try and manipulate world tendencies on your first go around. Also, I may be wrong but I recall there only being about 20 Stone of Ephemeral Eyes in the whole game, so use them wisely (aka tough boss battle where you really want the extra health + a free ring slot). Still as frustrating as it can get, it's definately one of the best games I've ever played. |

Yeah that now I am getting better, both physically and with skill the game is more enjoyable though it is amazingly, mindbendingly annoying lol
Also, I won't do this since I've yet to beat the game but my bro is on his 3rd playthrough, you guys know about the glitch that can get 99 of any item? Kinda confusing, I'll look it up but involves Boldwin and Stockpile Tom and it makes 1000 of an item. So you could do it with herbs, or in my brothers case...the soul from the final boss. So he made like 7million souls |

I'm really glad I will be able to play my phone on my TV. It's what I always wanted. Can you re-release Legend of Zelda for it too, Nintendo?
Thanks, E3. Edited by stonebeard - June 09 2011 at 00:35 |

I'm only 21 days in (each dream is a day, lasting about 10-40 minutes) and it's pretty damn hard to continue gonna finish it though. Seen some insanely creepy stuff too.
Glad I'm not the only one who kinda felt like this. Also, kinda annoys me that a ton of people are flipping out about a console having 1080p. Welcome to 2007, Nintendo. Playstation Vita could be good, probably won't bother getting one though. Assassin's Creed: Revelations trailer was f**king amazing. Skyrim gameplay was amazing too. Not much else that caught my attention from E3 though.

Good, good my young padawan. I played this 1-2 years ago and it was what I imagined this game to be. Polished, with save option (I hope) and also with support for high resolution. Visuals in this game are perfect. And besides, it's French game from Golden Age of DOS games, so quality should be assured. They say that this version is much more easier than original one, but I don't think so. |

There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"
