I think i might be interested to start reading the books of Umberto Eco just red about what style he is in and it looks like something a semi-historian like me should be interested in his writing

Well it started on here as a VR meme...You're right that it isn't funny at all, though. Edited by Henry Plainview - May 29 2011 at 16:20 |

I'm pretty sure people did that before the Internet existed. I suspect people did it back in 1969.

I don't mean the Itchycock meme, Henry.
I thought you understood what I was referring to. |

What's the deciding factor that results in the opening of a new shred?

Apparently I don't.
Well I guess the complainers were right about Skype. But at least it seems pretty obvious that DSK is actually a rapist. :P

Well obviously. Okay, then what's the deciding factor that results in a shred being closed?

I mean this:
People really ought to stop doing it. I've never done it and neither do I plan on doing it. And the Itchycock meme is just what I said. It's calling the album In the Court of the Crimson King Itchycock. I believe either Blowie or Ansen called it that first but I could be mistaken. |

Well first it has to be closed. And like 20 pages ago Brian said I could open it. But usually it's just a "OMG THE SHRED CLOSED OPEN A NEW ONE" and whoever makes it first wins.

Ah, I should have expected that this doesn't follow a set standard.
