 I just read on Wikipedia that those videos are not undercover Mars Volta songs.

But, they are opening for Soundgarden, which is pretty cool.

I love watching The Mars Volta live, like Aginor said, they are really energetic and seem to have a great time.

About Octahedron, it not really a bad album i just think it is their weakest. It doesnt give me the emotional shock as the other albums.
 
I woundt mind seeing them with Soundgarden too, would be a awesome show. Too bad they are opening up instead of having two headliners.
 
I'm also skeptical about the new album too. When Cedric described the new album it didn't reall appeal to me. "Future Punk" as he said. No blazing drums or lengthy songs..heh who knows what the album will be like.

My bandmates can't jam without playing bad riffs and the guitarists can't stop using distortion.

Deftones eh? I liked Adrenaline, some other songs maybe but not any other whole albums.
And good man Alan, I think I mentioned kinda liking Deftones once and the SR lolstorm was bad : (

Man, Deftones are awesome. I used to listen to them when I was a reckless/constantly drunk teenager. I really liked Diamond Eyes, and Around the Fur and White Pony are my favorites by them.
