This KC song is alright so far actually. Not the creative KC Fripp madness I wanted but it's a decent song

Génération Sans Futur matches the weather here perfectly.

So...the weather is dark and has some acoustic instruments? LOL

Watch out for cellos and double basses falling from the sky, then.  I feel like having one of them land on your head would be painful.  Same goes for any brass/woodwind instrument.  Or drums.  Or electric instruments.  Anything but kazoo, basically.

I think I'm going to start cooking dinner soon. I'm making Thai chili tilapia fillets, buttered scallops, and something with two shark fillets.

That's why it's so bad. It's nothing but mediocrity.

I'll call it a disappointment rather than Pure sh*t

I'd rather something be pure sh*t than mediocre.

I'd rather enjoy something a bit than despise it completely

Same. At least if it were another Happy With What You Have to be Happy With it would be funny. This is just a waste of space.

Maybe the rest of the album will be mind-boggling.

Even Fripp wasn't going to come up with something incredible at this stage. Theres plenty of bands still at the top of their game for this not to bother me much. Obvs it'll be a disappointing album, plus it wasn't at the top of my list for this year anyway

The real surprise will be if Yes's new album is better than it

So I was listening to the original Jack the Ripper earlier and it's awesome.  However, it occurred to me that's it's not dark in any way.

That's a cover/adaptation from Billy Cobham's Spectrum album (track Stratus)
But they made it really special with that vocal.

I'm excited about the new Yes album, but I know that I'm going to be disappointed.

My expectations are very low so I may be pleasantly surprised, though this 'Epic' song is no doubt a ploy to persuade every old fan to buy it

I suspect I will like it because there is very little Yes music that I don't like.

I'm expecting it to sound like Union. Although, I think the addition of the new vocalist may add some new spice to the band.

Probably not, though.

There's some leftover coconut/tillapia stew here.
