Why is that?

Because it's long and boring, but maybe I need to hear the studio version.

Perhaps.

But we have different tastes in music, I know.

Would Mei be a good album to start with?

Can't wait for new Opeth.

Thumbs Up
It has been leaked supposedly, but I have too much respect for Opeth to do that, though it is mighty tempting to get an early listen I shall resist!
NOT THAT I'D DO THAT ANYWAY!

I wouldn't feel too terrible, it's not like we won't buy the CD when it comes out.

Very true.
Well you've gotten to me Pat.
But no j/k the admins would not care for that!

Guys we all know Rob's hatred of Jordan goes way back, I think he had a fear of being trampled by long legged elephants carrying obelisks on their backs.

I'd be more afraid of a pomegranate that vomits a fish which vomits a tiger which vomits another tiger who's ready to bite a shotgun.

haha!
I love that one

It's my favorite Echolyn album.

Second is Cowboy Poems Free (largely prog pop rock songs) and third is The End is Beautiful (suidice sh*t).

On the other hand, Suffocating the Bloom is happy as hell (almost Gentle Giant- like).

And As the World is like a mix of EVERYTHING.

I will have to really try to check them out soon, I put off Oldfield for ages and it turns out I quite like him.

Echolyn's The End is Beautiful will probably make you want to kill yourself.

Depressing music can help though, The Final Cut did at least.

Panopticon pulled me through a very difficult period of my life.

I'm glad you're much happier now, Rob.  That's wonderful news.

Me too.  It's hard to make good music when you are...well...you know.

Unless you're Steve Walsh.

I very much know, unfortunately.  Though if you can move past that stage, it makes for some good songwriting inspiration.

Heavy and angry isn't right...I'm not sure how to describe it yet.

I need to control myself when listening to Agalloch, I catch myself singing along...and I'm sure my mother must be horrified at the sounds coming from my room.

And what's the album coming out Rob? Your second correct?
If so...working on a third already!?

I have music for the sixth album, and all those in between.

Also, I'm doing a remaster of STW for bandcamp.

Refulgence is number 2.

I have music for albums 3, 4, 5, and 6.

However, after #2, I am going to take a f**king nap.
