I like Dream Theater and Pink Floyd alot, and I ask is there anything similar instrumentalish prog for me to try (does not have to be completely ins)? Preferably bit on the lighter side.I'm new to this whole scene.

E: A mistake at the title. I meant the bands to the style of PInk Floyd have a lean on instrumentals, but not full instrumentals like LTE. But not Genesis. (Thanks for suggestions though).

If you like Dream Theater, I'd suggest checking out Liquid Tension Experiment.  They're an instrumental side-project formed by several members of DT, and they've got a couple of really great albums.

Give this a listen:

Ah yes I've listened to LTE tand all the songs they've made. DBS seems quite nice except maybe even bit too casual, have to check it out more on youtube.

Although they did add some vocals to Seventh Story but not a lot.

Gong is very similar in style to Syd's Floyd.
I shook my head and smiled a whisper knowing all about the place

Queensryche - Empire best of both worlds, some of it is prog metal or more melodic technical metal then usual + some of the songs have Pink Floyd structure and are very clearly influenced by the Floyds, (Silent Lucidity cremt)

Camel and Eloy are two big names, you have most likely heard some albums by these two bands before, but try "Rajaz" by Camel and "Silent Cries and Mighty Echoes" by Eloy, they have strong Pink Floyd influences. Also, in my opinion both albums are 5-star material. I tried to think of more bands, but it wasn't easy, but if I suddenly recall some good album or band, I will recomend it to you.

German Band RPWL started as Floyd tribute band and then moved to their own material. Very good band.

Voyage 34 Wink

Although, I agree that the tune is the most blatant PF ripoff I have heard. Although, I still enjoy it.

Since you like Dream Theater and Pink Floyd, you could try listening to Riverside - though they are not instrumental.

The song Second Life Syndrome from their second album of the same name, have always reminded me of a "heavy prog" version of Shine On You Crazy Diamond Pt. 1

Try to give it a listen below:

Anathema! There's a big Pink floyd influence in their music.
