Yes, Portal 2 is awesome.
I wasn't sure if it'd be like the original but longer, would it have little effort put into it? Any sequel to something popular makes me worry a bit, but it is awesome. The story, characters, dialogue, music (which is sweet) everything about it thus far has been perfect. Valve has done damn good. |

Deff, I only saw a few pieces but I bought it today And always go with your gut! After all that wanting to get just the PC version I caved and got PS3. Just to turn out...you need to go on PSN to link it to Steam. Which is currently impossible. f**king hackers... Well, unlike my poor friend I didn't break the seal yet, so I got a full refund and just put it for the PC version. We can co-op even if Im on PC and you on PS3, correct Ric? That is whenever PSN is back up. Also my brother who hates all games now is convinced Sony is doomed. i asked why and he's absolutely sure they will keep hacking it endlessly Edited by JJLehto - April 25 2011 at 17:13 |

I've been aching to play Portal 2. I've beaten 1 and practically every challange on the game (beaten, not accomplished; some of those medals are for people whose lives are definitely worse than mine, lol) and I've seen some demos of the 2 and it is driving me crazy. I reeeeeeeeeeeeally wanna play it, damn.

No players of Mortal Kombat 9? It is absolutely fantastic and reverted it's playing much back to the MK3 I grew up on. The perfect blend of nostalgia and updates

I beat No More Heroes 2 earlier this week and my wife and I have been playing Portal 2 since Friday. It's really good so far.

I beat Portal 2 the day after it came out, and ya it lived up to all the hype for sure. If anyone is on the fence about it, then definately get it. I would even go so far as to say its on the same level of quality as the Half Life franchise. The only disappointment was that it wasn't really as long as they made it out to be, but the co-op definately adds significant extra value.

There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

Well I'm mainly untouched since I only played Uncharted 2 multi player, and a brief period of Borderlands but I didnt really like that game much. |

Joystiq was reporting that PSN is down because some hackers figured out how to get unlimited PSN points using custom firmware. Go go Gadget security holes! |

Also depends how you choose to space it Colin.
I'm not sure the actual time (like in hours) in took but I played Portal over 3 days. Got through the first 14 levels in like no time, stopped, did a few more, stopped, the remaining and GLaDOS fight. I'm doing the same with Portal 2, even though I played a big chunk the first day, there's a lot left I know. So spacing out helps. There's also co op, though Im not sure how that works... okay, because Portal was only like an hour and a half long, and I'm not paying $50 for a game that won't last me longer than a day or 2 |
