BTBAM?
Gojira?
Periphery?
Enslaved?
Neurosis?

I think it'd be best to use a more well known band so that even the people who will just go in to vote for KC will know who they are voting against.
Right, that's what I was thinking.

Or I was thinking something so incredibly inaccessible and extreme (I could post a link) that people would be so turned off upon first listen.

I might do Periphery in that case.  I'll compare Epitaph to Zyglrox.

I really like Periphery but against King Crimson (who is not even my favourite prog band ) it will be like

King Crimson >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Periphery, who only yet have one album to flag with (that is also a good one), KC have like 7 from 69 - 74 that varies in quality between awesome and good

Do Epignosis.

I will fail.  Big smile

If I did, you would have an actual, legitimate vote from me, Rob.  No troll.

Really?  I will admit that I like my music more than most KC albums.  Damn I need to finish this new one!  It's just some vocals at this point, really (my wife's).

Have you heard The Power to Believe by King Crimson though Kevin?

I have not, but I got the album from a friend, I think.  I can give it a listen soon.

Andy, what Echolyn do you have?

Also, this album is going to be getting the five star treatment from me soon (even though I didn't like it on first hearing):

One of my favorite King Crimson albums.  It's King Crimson does metal (which, of course, won't be traditional metal!).  Great album.

It's more or less based on this.

Musically brilliant.  I am sucked in every time.
