Never heard of Protest the Hero. Listened to three songs on Youtube. Got the general idea. Voted for Yes. Will never listen to Protest the Hero again.

Same with me. (To be fair I listened to the songs that are streamed on this site + 3 youtube videos).

I can't get into Protest Hero's music, there is no melody, i got no feeling listening to their music. The technique is impressive and the way they play at a vey fast tempo, but after 1 song i am already fed up with them. I think they are the opposite of Yes.

This thread should be sticky'd so that the terrible opinions of Yes fans can be preserved for posterity.

As was I. Your comment was far more amusing as an ironic statement.

Isn't that off their Close to the Edge album? Superb live recording on the Great Wall of China!

In this poll I think someone just wanted to see the name Protest the Hero and Yes in the same sentence. I say it is just grammatically wrong. I give you props for at least raising the name from obscurity but that's it.

Yes. PtH is just a bunch of unrelated "hey, look at me" riffs slapped together with whiney/screechy vocals thrown on top.
