Liverpool is a friendlier place, if you avoid some areas. Haven't been to Manchester though so i can't really speak for that

Oasis loves themselves so much. For all the other modern stuff to compare them to, they don't sound sooo bad.. Not good buy any means, but heck, better than Green Day and other contemporaries.

Luckily for the most part i've managed to avoid both apart from the occasional Busker strumming Wonderwall (uuuuuuuuuuuurgh take all my money if you just stop)
