Like their singing equally although they are very different, as for the lyrics, PH is the best songwriter in the world!

I look up, I'm almost blinded
by the warmth of what's inside me
and the taste that's in my soul,
but I'm dead inside as I stand alone...

I used to love Yes' music, but could not find it in me to like in anyway Anderson's voice it sounded flat, and dead to me, but the last year or so I have really became accustomed to Anderson's singing. I started looking towards his voice more as part of the music instead of looking for some amazing vocalist! Anderson is not bad at all, but he is no Peter Hammill. Peter Hammill is one of the most dynamic vocalists in and out of the progressive realm. I showed some guy the other day who is a huge metalhead, the song Lemmings, and Killer he is not a fan of progressive music at all, and he was completely astonished! Hammill just evokes emotion in everything he sings, and unlike many singers trying to show off their impressive range, he seemed to try, and have a huge range of singing styles instead of range in octaves. You do not hear this from too many people, and he can sing every way good! Hammil definitely!
