Topic: prog music stores in Los Angeles, USA Posted: March 17 2011 at 16:37 |
Hello everybody,
Maybe you can help me with some address of prog music shops in L.A... I'm from Chile, and I go to L.A. on next june and I want to buy some DVD's from Happy the man, Genesis, Yes, etc. (the old concerts), and in Chile we do not have any store like that.
Thanks for your help and best regards,
Fernando

The best place to find music in LA is definitely Amoeba Music. It's got this "Hollywoody" feel, and they have thousands of cds/vinyls. It's at 6400 West Sunset Boulevard. It's my favorite place in the whole world :D
Hope you enjoy LA!

I almost started sobbing like a child the first time I went to Amoeba. So big, so much choice, so much indecision (as in "OMG!!! Where do I start?")
I think I preferred the San Francisco one though.

The prices are worse in SF (which can get pretty nasty once you start buying multiple items).
