Topic: Thom Yorke vs. Matt Belamy Posted: March 09 2011 at 12:32
Well, I don't know if this is done before but if not, this is a really nice and challenging poll. Though Matt is surely highly influenced by Thom and his band Radiohead, but he's got a unique and beautiful voice and can go up to really high notes as well. They are both good musicians and instrumentalists. I wonder about your opinions about this.
I can(hardly) say Thom Yorke.

''Hope is the first step on the road to dissapointment.'' (Friedrich Nietzsche)
Matt stays is the same darn over dramatic falsetto register while you get some ascending and descending arpeggiated guitar/ synth patterns on every single song. Sure, he could technically mop the floor with Thom, but that don't mean jack if you don't have the songwriting skills to back it up.

I'd like to see Thom try and play the keys like Matt does on Butterflies and Hurricanes.
Thom is a great artist
Matt is a brilliant musician
Apples and oranges.
Love both but voted for Matt.
Have to agree - Matt is more versatile and as much as I love Thom Yorke as an artist, I actually find it harder to understand what the lyrics are when he is singing. Matt is my pick.
