I'd say less so with Math Rock.  Hardly anyone I know listens to Math Rock but a heck of a lot listen to Post-Rock.

Plus Cleo talked about it a couple times.  I like PAK's albums a lot based on what I've heard, and (of course) I love Ruins, yet for whatever reason I don't enjoy the Ron Anderson/Ruins albums very much...odd.

Yeah, there are...2 or 3 Ronruins albums, and at least one or two albums with just him and Yoshida.

I've always wondered whether Ruins was named after the Henry Cow track.  Any ideas?

I've only heard Ruinzhatova's cover of Kraftwerk's Trans-Europe Express so far, and it was what you'd expect - loud, chaotic, the works. LOL

Sax Ruins is a lot of fun.  I forget which track, but one of them matches up in running time to the original Ruins version, so I figured "Well, they must be played at the same tempo, so let's see what it sounds like when I combine the two in Audacity!"

They weren't at the same tempo at all.  It just ended up being a big jumbled mess. LOL
