I must pursue the corner-shop girl... but tomorrow is too soon.  I know she's working tomorrow but I only went in today.

And even if I do go in, what the hell do I say?

She may have a bloke.  I don't even know her name.

Maybe I should invite her for a coffee sometime, at a neutral place, obviously.

Well, have you talked to her at all?  If not, I suggest starting there.  If so, I recommend introducing yourself and asking her name, then ask her for a coffee as you suggested.

She knows me as a customer.  I've met her a few times.  I don't want to be stalkerish.  Every time I speak to her I try and get a bit more information.  It's just there's usually other customers and the timing is bad.  I need it to be just her and I.
