I'm concerned that some of the adverts we get on PA are rather wasting their time and money Tongue How many people who use this site, are going to click on an advert for an 'Insane Clown Posse' webcast.

Of course, I have no problem with it, I just found it amusing, and wondered whether half the publicists for the bands/films/TV series, actually quite understand where they are advertising?

LOL  Science fact: Insane Clown Posse is proven to be the leading cause of ear cancer and has also been linked to the only known case of spontaneous combustion of the eardrum.

You got an ICP ad? Good lord, I thought it was bad I keep getting Emmure's album ripping off Orson Scott Card and something that is described as "krunked out". I get the same ads on the rare occasions I visit MMA, so if they're always linked that would explain the disconnect between some of the ads for a prog site.

Oh nice, I just got the ICP ad too. I dunno, there's probably one fan around here somewhere. We have Nickelback and Katy Perry fans. :/

Some of these ads are generated by keywords in a thread (e.g. I often used to get ads for big American motorbikes before I used AdBlock).

Shhh.  I go to some liberal political sites and they take conservative ads.  Why not if they help fund the site and no one pays attention to them?
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Oh don't worry I know!, creating money for PA is great, I just wondered if they knew that it's almost a waste of money advertising here LOL

Seriously.  And there's a couple mainstream metalcore ones I've seen.  Better than the "CLICK HERE TO WIN A VIRUS" flashing ones though.

I would rather pay PA $5 each month to get rid of that sh*t than anything else ... so bizarre ... a "progressive" site using a regressive concept ... and an old one at that! There just aren't enough Roy's around today, I guess ... we're all replicants now! And worse ... we don't care!

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

I think Insane Clown Posse must be influenced by Pink Floyd -

In a world of 'magnets and miracles'

LOL
