I'm glad others find Black Oni so damned good. I've been saying it for years but people are genuinely surprised when they find out I'm correct (mostly). I love the sonic mindwarp on the album. It's a good album to put on to check your new stereo equipment is up to it. I've played it loud at my folks place before and the bassy parts really make the floor vibrate. Plus of course there's the high-pitched parts too. Mmm. Five Suns has some of it too. Mmm.

Oddly, I keep forgetting James MacGaw is French, despite his Scottish name. It's confusing. Plus Stella pronounces it in an un-Scottish way.

That's because Stella speaks English. And I thought he was a Brit.

I love this version of Kobaia. Mmm. Sang in English and with an awesome jazzy and bluesy solo by Mac Gaw.

Good album but much better live on Trilogie Theusz Hamtaahk (aka Trilogie au Trianon).

I'm James, I don't like to edit my posts, or even use the enter key. I just make three posts in a row instead.

I reckon she'd like this version of Kobaia, yes. Firstly, it's sang in English. Secondly, she's crazy for bluesy/jazzy guitar solos. I know what makes her tick.

Well I never knew of them James. It was JordanSalDali who suggested the album to me, and I'm quite thankful. It is awesome.

If that's a Guapo album, I've never heard of it.
I know they still have the Zeuhl influence before Daniel O'Sullivan joined but musically they are much more awesome with him on board.
