Hey James, I've noticed you've got The Cracow Klezmer Band on yout sig. Since I've enjoyed Zorn's Masada quite a lot, should I get that De Profundis album?

It's a Wisconsin thing.  Because, you know, all we do here in Wisconsin is sit around and eat cheese.

It became associated with fans of the Green Bay Packers, who are commonly referred to as "cheeseheads".  The story goes that some guy in the late 80's was sick of being harassed by Cubs fans at Brewer games, so he took a wedge of foam out of his old sofa, spray painted it yellow and wore it on his head one day to a Milwaukee Brewers game.  Then-centerfielder Rick Manning made them popular by making a line out of it and selling them at games, and it's since spread to all realms of Wisconsin, though it's most commonly associated with Green Bay Packers fans.

He may have misspeled that, there could be a city in France called Logan too.

Definitely.

They've worked with Zorn a few times, as I'm sure you know.  Personally. I prefer De Profundis over their work with Zorn.

Is it bad that I have to go through my last.fm profile to see what music I have on my computer? I keep forgetting what I have.

Not at all, Ben.  I have a lot of music on my external drive that's not even unzipped.  I don't use my external drive too often.

Plus Spotify doesn't really have everything I need either.

Yep.

Balan: Book of Angels Volume 5
Sanatorium Under the Sign of the Hourglass

Although Zorn doesn't perform on either.

So when I say they've worked with Zorn, I meant his compositions, or for him, not with him.

Black Oni
Which is just bloody brilliant
If their other ones are as good (or better of course) then...well I don't even know.

Unfortunately, Brian, they're not quite as brilliant.

Five Suns is more Zeuhlish but unfortunately it's just not quite as good as Black Oni.  Still worth purchasing though.

Elixirs is good too but only a few tracks are similar to their previous work.  It's different yet still good.

Also try Miasma and the Carousel of Headless Horses.

What the hell is it with my Apple Software Update?  It always stops updating.  Weird.

Not that I care, I don't use iTunes or Safari.  I think I only really need QuickTime.
