Not sure, but Guapo is good stuff.  I enjoy Elixirs a bit more, but both are great albums.  James will say that Black Oni is the best, but I haven't heard it yet so I can't comment.

I got Black Oni at the same time as Five Suns. It's next on my listening queue.

My parents actually do let me attend concerts... classical only though. They try to make me wear ear plugs to them, but I refuse. I'm such a rebel.

I'm definitely going to start going to non-classical concerts once I'm in college though. I just hope I can afford tickets.

You can see a lot of quality shows for around $10 at the Church. It's also walking distance from Penn's campus.

Which Church? And what bands have played there? I'm not familiar with the venues west of the Schuylkill [it took a very long time to learn how to spell that word].

The First Unitarian Church @ 19th and Chestnut. Lots and lots of bands have played there.

Some highlights for me were The Dear Hunter and A Silver mt. Zion.

I had tickets for Kayo Dot and Secret Chief's 3, but I was unable to go due to personal reasons. I still cry about missing that show.

Oh that's pretty close. $10 is really reasonable. I have a feeling I'll end up there often.

Actually might have to hold off on listening to Black Oni. Hopper Tunity Box is next. I haven't listened to it and I just can't put it off any longer.

Oops, they're only 3.5 hours or so.

The recorded  version is only 3.5 hours. The actual opera was double that.

Einstein on the Beach is one of my top 5 compositions of all time.

Yeah, I made the mistake of buying the reissue of the 1979 recording instead of the newer one, so I'm missing around 30 mins of the material on the new version.  I'm planning to get it sometime soon...ish, because it's the version I listened to and enjoyed on Myspace before Myspace turned worse than it was.
