Holy crap, the weekend of March 27th-29th has gotta be the most amazing week for concerts I've ever seen. Friday is Periphery/Scale the Summit/Fair to Midland, Saturday is Agalloch in Chicago, and Sunday is GY!BE... if only I could go to all of them. |
Stupid Godspeed sold out in 2 seconds. Stupid Agalloch didn't book a Philly date. Stupid Scale the Summit had a really poor mix last time I saw them that made everything sound like static. |
Godspeed tickets sold out in 2 seconds too but they have some on eBay, I just wanna try and find some for below 85 bucks :/
Agalloch are in Chicago but I don't have a car. Scale the Summit sounded pretty good at the BTBAM/Cynic/Devy tour. |
That's when I saw them. Sound wasn't good for me. The cheapest I've seen for Godspeed is $100 in Philly. |
It helps that they're playing 3 shows in Chicago and the only one I can [maybe] go to is the one on a Sunday night. Pisses me off though because I have two friends who got tickets before they sold out (and before I even knew they were gonna play in Chicago) and neither of them are as big of Godspeed fans as I am. The only reason they even know of the band is because they had a song in the movie 28 Days Later and they have nerd boners for that movie. |
Mug them. |
Good plan. |
They deserve death if they only know them from 28 Days Later. I smoked a cigarette with Efrim and I'm not even going.

The paper I'm doing is a bunch of hardcore rock formations and it's much more complicated than that.

For hardcore rock I'd advise you to ask the PMT members

If I start making completely different music under a second moniker, does that reflect bad on me?
I mean, to anyone except Walter?
