I've been playing Pallas a lot this week after they were announced for High Voltage 2011. Just wondering which version of The Sentinel you think is best, The original running order or the reordered one that the band initially wanted and have recently rectified. I think I prefer the original, its the one I've been listening to for years and hearing the songs mixed up now seems odd. I can't say I was really following the concept of the album either, so does anyone think the bands version makes the story any clearer?Confused
You must be joking.....Take a running jump......

I like original vinyl running order best to be honest.

I have some CD re-issue from a few years back which opens with Shock Treatment, and it just doesn;t sound right. It may be that I was just so used to the original running order. It doesn't help that the re-mastered CD sounded like it was recorded in a cave.

It's an ok album overall. Good but flawed. 3 stars.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

Jim Garten prefers the version that was accidentally released without any songs on it at all.
