Regarding that danse society album I am currently listening to, that's one of the best goth rock thing I ever heard, somewhere between Clan Of Xymox and the darkest moments of The Cure's 'desintegration'.
Never heard Clan of Xymox. Know of "The Cure " though. Sounds Good. There is just not enough time for us eclectics. Liking all music pretty much is time consuming to say the leastBig smile

I used to listen to various radio broadcasts while I was a teenager (metal, guitar-driven, goth rock, electro, classical, prog...) and it helped expand my musical tastes.

Clan of Xymox are one of the most famous electro/goth cold wave band. They released two essential albums, then went pop with Xymox (with Tony Visconti as producer) then come back to their gothic roots in the late nineties.
These are their most famous songs of their first era :

Just discovered a japanese band somewhat similar to the late phase of Clan Of Xymox, with however their own identity.
Art Marju Duchain. Very good actually.
