Don't blame it on the 70s, Ekseption was a pretty cheeezy band even by 70s standards, they seemed like prog-rock lite back then. For some weird reason you could find their records in the tiny grocery store record section in the dumbass country town part of the US back in the 70s. You would buy it and think you found a cool record for cheap at the grocery store and take it home and listen and never play it again. Edited by Easy Money - January 08 2011 at 20:15 |

Its The Nice, the live version of Rondo 69. He plays a bit of the Bach piece before heading into the main theme borrowed from Dave Brubeck.

The first part was played by ELP (or perhaps The Nice) on Hammond organ, somewhat faster. It's on the tip of my tongue by I couldn't recall the title.

I can't believe this video exists. The '70s were dark times, indeed. |

It's quite similar John Hawkins piano solo on the latter part of the track "Island" by Renaissance from their self titled debut album.

a week ago a friend played this piece from Bach:
I know I've heard it before but I can't find where
It's this movement only. Do you know any song that features this melody???
