I haven't had experience with those, but from reading up on sevenstring.org they sound like the best option. Do a google search for Lundgren's on sevsnstring. Bit Costly though.
PS: Meshuggah use em if that means anything to ya. |
It means a bit but I want something that has nice cleans too, hehe. I need to do some research first. |
I'd assume the Lundgrens have a good clean tone as well as the dirt tones. Research is a good idea.
I think i'm gonna get this as soon as i sell my Schecter Hellraiser Tempest (I own a C-1 Classic and a C-1 Blackjack 08' and i much prefer those). Maybe 6 months/1 year down the track I'll get some Lundgrens. |
Mmm, Agiles. I might be interested in one for my second 8 string. I only worry about that one because it doesn't have a neck pickup. |
I'm not too fussed. I figured that I would be using it for heavier stuff and that I could make do with the bridge pup for cleans.

My ultimate goal would be to invest in a Mesa Boogie half stack... but sh*t that'll cost an arm and a leg.

that seems ridiculous, I'm pretty sure Orange amps cost more than Mesas here. Hell, my last amp was a Mesa combo, and it cost me like $1250 it was pretty damn tight

Alright, I'll pick one up for you
I tried out some Orange amps and while I really liked them, they didn't quite have the right heavy tones I was looking for.
