Yeah, I've noticed you changed your avatar to Mårran/Hufsa. I always found her frightening as a kid.

me to, I jumped sometimes when she apeard, and Im bit shaken everytime I discover my avatar, and when I was yonger I sometimes ran home when it was dark becose i was affraid she fallowed me and I panic-ran home

Lol, this sounds profoundly disturbing for a children's cartoon.  I should look into it.

For someone who's the son of a fashion designer, his fashion sense is pretty horrible.

but I have learnd to understand the psychology of Mårran/Hufsa, it is about not judge anything by their looks/preciance that their actualy kind even if their are monsters, but the thing is Mårran also makes you cold physicly so here pressance is also painfull, but that is not here fault just here nature. actualy alot about the moomin which is genius and you as an adult may view in another light/prespective.

Not that disturbing actually, it's just that she regularly dealt with subjects that might have seemed foreign (scary) to kids. Which is admirable, I'd say.

many scandinavian child television before the 00s and late 90s were not so pedagocial, in the naive way, but more raw, more up to your own imagination and judgement, and moomin is one of them based on a finnish childfantasy books by Tove Jansson http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tove_Jansson, a finn-swiede most known leterary story after Kalevala, their are probably also strong influence form Kalevala epic

but their are not only dark moomin episode but some are frightning and ceveral differnet ghostlike creature, witches, wizard, electric ghost-like enteties Hattifnats, the Snow-queen,

Yeah, but I'm in a compulsive hard copy mood. Which, I must say is rather rare for me. I'm usually too apathetic to properly care about trivial things like that.

Swedish progressive rock band Ritual have used the idea of Moomins in various songs, including: "Seasong for the Moominpappa", "Moomin took my Head" and, recently, a whole concept album dedicated to the furry 'trolls', The Hemulic Voluntary Band.
