Thanks Max, thats the good news, the bad news is that the email notifications are inconsistent, I think I understand the new system, which I'm not crazy about, but even that doesn't seem to be working all the time.
EDIT - I think the email notifications have quit again.

The email notifications system is sending 1 notification after the first reply, the same way EBAY sends an email after you've been outbidded the first time, not subsequent ones.
Sounds quite logic , but I understand that people might need to revise their way of working with this.
I just hope that forum moderation is not more difficult with this ?

as long as people use the report button it shouldn't make it more difficult
(if I miss something then that's one less thing to moderate )

I guess it is just inconsistent, sometimes they aren't sent, or so it seems, kind of hard to tell for sure.

I note I receive the Weekly PA feed although I never subscribed to it.
And actually my mail program labelled the first one SPAM.

^ It worked! I'm not a newbie, M@X. I've been here since 2005.

I agree, it appears quite random. I thought it was automated in a way that's sending notifications after I log-out, and stopped sending them while I'm logged in, but no. ...unless...it's sending only one (first) notification after logging off, ignoring the subsequent posts? I'm confused. Whatever it is, it's not intuitive. EDIT: Okay, I get the idea. I still think it's an counter-intuitive though. I tried RSS, but all I get was a XML Parsin Error with long, scrolling piece of code.

Sometimes I'm getting this: when I'm trying to submit a post. What the... And, yes, when I refreshed the page it worked fine. Anybody else getting it?
