Yes and yes!

Also:

Bruce Dickinson's held note at the start of "Hallowed be Thy Name", and high note scream mid-"Rime of the Ancient Mariner:;

Paul McCartney's singing in "Oh Darlin'";

Vincent Cavanagh's (vocoder) vocals on "Closer";

Mike Patton on "Ugly in the Morning" - especially the maniacal rant at the end;

Chris Cornell's singing on Soundgarden's Badmotorfinger album, especially "Outshined" and "Jesus Christ Pose".

Pretty much anything from Gildenlow and Pain of Salvation.  I believe they have the best vocals in the business.

 Hammill's  A Louse is not a Home + Childlike faith in Childhood's End  +  The Sllepwalkers
SOON by Jon Anderson
Carpet Crawles by Gabriel
David Byron in "THE PARK" & "RAIN"
DIO  in  "Don't talk to stranges"

But my very favourite is probably the middle of "A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers" where Hammill sings " would you cry if I died" etc - this moment  impresses me most of all

Would you catch the final words of mine?
Would you catch my words???

Trilogy - ELP, as Greg Lake has exceptional singing and bass playing on this track.
2112 - Rush, Geddy Lee sings at his best and his bass playing fierce and gritty.
July Morning - Uriah Heep, Dave Byron is one hell of a singer, and this is one of his best songs.
After the Flood - Van Der Graaf Generator, Peter Hamill shows excellent dynamics in a groovy cut.
Gates of Delirum - Yes, with Jon Anderson's best singing, no wonder the track is highly praised.

Neal Morse on Transatlantic's albums
The thing about Neal Morse is that, he always sounds like he's gonna sing off key. Of course he never does (otherwise it wouldn't have been released, would it?) That gives a huge "human" factor to his music.
Favorite moment: in your soul (Stranger in Your Soul)

Steven Wilson, on the other hand, is inhumanly on pitch. Also good to listen to.
Favorite moment: Even less, even less, even le-eeess (Even Less, Arriving Somewhere Live)

James LaBrie is a combination of the two -- he sounds like anyone can sing like he does, but no, it takes lots of practice. His style is power/prog metal singing, so it certainly sounds pretensious, but I don't mean that in a bad way -- it's actually my favorite singing style.
Favorite moment: Unlocking dreams from my memory (Home)

I wouldn't want anyone to actually try to sing like JLB, ugh!

The orgasmic "I am to come I was" from Aphrodite's Child's 666.  Just for it's sheer weirdness.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

It all sings beautifully;
With all your strength believe this.
But I know you can't understand
Why I threw myself from the glass again.
