As much as I love King Crimson, it is still, and always will be, Genesis for me.

I'm not a huge king crimson fan (compared to others on this site) but they absolutely deserve to win this tournament

I love both pretty much equally, but KC has a slight edge in my heart. Plus, they never made a bad album.Yes would have had my vote if they were in this, though.

Must King Crimson win every single poll? I don't remember seeing a poll where they lost. I love King Crimson but I'm amazed that even Genesis can't put up a good fight against the Crimson King.
A hard choice but I go for Genesis. I prefer more of their albums to King Crimson's.

Voting for Crimson as soon as I reach 40 posts. If you had asked me just a few months ago I probably would have gone with Genesis. Either way, this wasn't an easy decision for me.

Well, if KC has so easily and rapidly gotten the lead in this poll against Genesis, who hardly was able to brake the tie with Yes, I guess they are the easy winners of this tournament. I myself don't know, they are somewhat equal for me. I like Yes more than this two, though.

I like one Crimson album, I like at least 9 Genesis albums, being Foxtrot and Nursery Cryme my two favorite albums ever.
The choice is easy for me....Genesis all the way.

Such a sentimental happening, this poll. Genesis is very good, but als overrated IMHO. Tresspass, Nursury Cryme and Foxtrot are all pretty good, but after that the band became poppy and romantic which ruined a lot of otherwise good song-writing.
King Crimson always had this brave vision of constant progression and that is to be celebrated. I don't like some of their 'Crimso-metal'-album that much, but albums like the debut, the second, Lizard and Red make this one of my favorite bands.
Other bands that I might have voted for if added to the poll: Magma and SBB. The latter should have gotten way more attention in this poll
