I'm rather partial to Wakeman's solo material, though for the quantity there's a lot that leaves something to be desired.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

They are all exceptionnal musicians but Bill Bruford is my choice. Such a drummer.

But where Wakeman gets, good, he gets really good. I would give more 5 star albums to Wakeman than to Yes.

As a muiscal career in general, definitlly Brufford. For there work in Yes or ABWH, Howe gets my vote. But, since thats not the question, Brufford gets my vote for Earthworks, Crimson etc.
