Sadly, many great games were released on consoles. I dare to say that most of great games were released on various console systems, through 80s, to 90s Psx, N64, to 00s Gamecube, Psx2-3, XBoxes (no Wiii, I'm not talking about you).

PC is still PC, more or less the same thing for last 20 years. You still can play DOS games through DosBox (one emulator to 99% of DOS games) and with a little bit of luck / patches, you can play Win95-98 games (I have problems with Master of Orion 2 on XP). 

But consoles ? That's bad. I would like to play Simpsons - The Game, but I can't. Emulator for Psx2 is very demanding thing and it's not certain that this game will work. Actually, it didn't work two years ago when I failed to emulate this game on my PC.

Spyro the Dragon for me all the time, each of first three. I can imagine myself, 64 years old, still playing this.

OK, I haven't tried Icewind and NeverW, just mentioned them (and forgot to say so :-D ), but Baldur's Gate ...

Maybe the problem is that I started with 2. With both datadiscs, but still, it's second episode. I certainly will persevere and sooner or later, I'll do this game.

Planescape Torment is (I dare to say) one of the best RPGs I know. It has this magical atmosphere of greatness (given world it's situated in, backstory, all possibilities you are given) ... words aren't enough to describe it's beauty.

Nope, this 500 years old painting surely has no copyright by now. And if so, nobody will complain any more than having Travis with headphones. Good avatar though :-D

Nope, following Slartibartfast Halloween Earl, I decided to have something scary as well. And what's the most scariest thing ? To look at myself (lying on the road).

Planescape Torment - played six years ago, truly one of the best games I've saw. Mostly because of story, atmosphere and setting (I enjoy reading Planescape-related things). However, even it's possible to die and go on playing after death, I never used this feature, I rather loaded and did things differently, better, not leading to death. It was tough though.

OK, there are. I played something here and there, said Deus Ex recently, Far Cry, Half Life 2, Fallout 1&2, as I said, something here and there. I'm not one genre type man, so I'm not sure if I can tell you what genre I want. I can play most of them (I even used to enjoy Crash Bandicoot, Rugrats, Spyro and Gex 3d, games referred to as games for children).

I sometimes play Age of Empires 2, but it's not interesting for me enough to play it for weeks. Or it's too complex and unrewarding. But I respect this game as one of the best strategies.

What about something like good old Elite 2 - Frontier, only in modern version. Something like Homeworld or Freelancer.

Or something similar to Beyond Good & Evil in spirit - action platform game they call it ?

Or complex strategy of Master of Orion 2 type.

Or solid action in spirit of Serious Sam 2 or Painkiller. Anything like that ?

RE: Deus Ex music - not my cup of tea, really. And I used to stick in locations for quite a long time, so music has become too repetitive.
